Meet our professors:
Professor Jeremy:
Professor Jeremy
is the Head Instructor at Pueblo Jiu Jitsu and a second-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Professor Bryan Waltz. With more than three decades of grappling experience, he brings an extensive background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, competition, and coaching to the academy.
Throughout his BJJ career, Professor Jeremy has competed successfully at the local, regional, and national levels. His competitive accomplishments include multiple IBJJF World Master titles, reflecting decades of dedication to training, competition, and technical development.
His passion for grappling began with wrestling, a sport he has competed in and coached for most of his life. His wrestling career includes success at the highest levels of competition, including becoming an individual national champion and contributing as a member of multiple national championship teams.
Professor Jeremy also had the opportunity to train and compete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Greco-Roman wrestling during one of the strongest periods in U.S. Greco-Roman history.
Today, he brings that depth of experience to Pueblo Jiu Jitsu, combining the technical foundations of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with decades of wrestling knowledge and competitive experience. His focus is not only on developing skilled grapplers, but also on creating an environment where students of all ages and experience levels can learn, challenge themselves, compete, and continue improving both on and off the mats.
